999 Contemporary is an art gallery dedicated to the research and study of ultra-contemporary urban visual arts, in particular 999 investigates the artistic phenomena known as Street Art or Urban Art.
Founded in 2010 by Francesca Mezzano and Stefano Antonelli, it is currently organized as follows: Stefano Antonelli director, Francesca Mezzano, founder and project manager, assistant at the Chiara Pietropaoli gallery.
His office in Rome, in the district of Testaccio, offers a selected project room to selected artists in which it is possible to experience the routine work done in a public environment.
The 999 carries out a critical research and publication activity in the field of ultra-contemporary urban visual arts. Public art activities have been planned since 999 in close collaboration with the municipal authorities, assisted by possible collaborators and produced jointly in the building sites open for each specific project.
