Art gallery and cultural club for the curious and lovers of the bizarre, the unknown, the natural wonders and the baroque Wunderkammer.
The Chambers of Wonders, a typical phenomenon of the Renaissance, which made collecting a veritable form of art. The aim was to possess objects that are impossible to find in nature, rare and difficult to find.
Natural objects, or Naturalia, were predominantly precious, rare stones minerals, fossils or extravagances like bizarre animals or interesting creatures of various kinds. Those created by man, or Artificialia, were divided between monsters made from reuse of animal parts and other objects born with artisanal techniques. All these findings represented true MIRABILIA, or things that aroused wonder.
